July 24, 2026 – Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Bestway Marine & Energy Technology Co., Ltd., has signed new shipbuilding contracts for a total of seven commercial vessels, as disclosed on July 23.

The order package consists of two major vessel types: five 1,064 TEU container ships and two 6,600 DWT multi‑purpose dry cargo vessels.

For the container ship project, Dajin Heavy Industry formally entered into a construction contract and a corresponding ship export cooperation agreement with China Shipbuilding Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The five units, identified by hull numbers DJHC6337, DJHC6338, DJHC6339, DJHC6341, and DJHC6342, are scheduled to commence construction in a phased manner starting from the second half of 2026, with final deliveries extending through June 2029.

For the multi‑purpose dry cargo vessel project, the shipbuilder signed a construction contract with Jiangsu Xinyangchuan Maritime Development Co., Ltd. The two vessels, hull numbers DJHC6167 and DJHC6168, are set to begin building in August 2026 and will be delivered in separate phases, with the last unit due by January 2029.

The concentrated order for these seven newbuilds underscores the market's recognition of Dajin Heavy Industry's quality standards and delivery track record in commercial shipbuilding. The contracts further strengthen the company's product portfolio and competitive position in the merchant vessel segment, providing a solid workload for its production facilities over the coming years.
