The UK DAY, held as part of the Shanghai Pudong International Shipping Week 2026 on Wednesday, 21 October at the Shanghai International Convention Center (上海国际会议中,上海市浦东新区滨江大道2727号) is organised and convened by Maritime London, in partnership with: UK Shipping Concierge and Maritime Coastguard Agency, Anemoi, London International Shipping Week 2027 and London Maritime Arbitrators Association, and supported by: UK Government’s Department for Business, Innovation, Science & Trade and Department for Transport, Chinese Shipping Association of London, Society of Maritime Industries, and media partners Beyond Shipping and Xinde Marine.

This session will introduce the LMAA and explain its continuing relevance to Chinese shipping and trade and explode some myths about the experience of Chinese parties in London arbitration. It will in addition highlight the uses and dangers of AI in arbitration. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
