COSCO SHIPPING Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Hengli Group COSCO SHIPPING 2021-05-10 11:02

On May 6, COSCO SHIPPING and Hengli Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Dalian Changxing Island. Member of the Standing Committee of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Dalian Municipal Party Committee Mr. Tan Zuojun, Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Capt. Xu Lirong, and Chairman and President of Hengli Group Mr. Chen Jianhua attended the event and witnessed the signing. Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING Mr. Huang Xiaowen and Vice President of Hengli Group Mr. Lu Kun signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides.
 
According to the agreement, the two parties will build an integrated logistics platform based on the principle of mutual benefit and common development, comprehensively enhance cooperation in the total logistics supply chain, deepen collaboration in energy transport, and discuss potential cooperation in other areas.
 
During the event, Capt. Xu Lirong visited the Hengli (Dalian Changxing Island) Industrial Park accompanied by Mr. Chen Jianhua. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation.
 
Hengli Group, established in 1994, is an international enterprise that focuses on oil refining, petrochemical, advanced polyester materials, and textile. The Group owns one of the world's largest PTA plants, one of the world's largest functional fiber production bases and weaving enterprises. It has a national “Enterprise Technology Center” in China. The Group's corporate competitiveness and product brand value are among the forefront in the industry.
