1.The terminal operating systems(TOS) provider announced a new partnership with COSCO Shipping Ports Limited(CSP), creating a joint Center of Excellence (CoE).
 
2.The world's first energy-saving very large crude oil carrier(VLCC) aided by wind power was unveiled on Tuesday in Dalian City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, making China the first country to produce such carriers. 
 
3.Changfeng Energy, Chinese energy provider completed its trial run of a liquefied natural gas(LNG) shipment from Canada to China using ISO-containers.
 
4.ABB has won its first marine automation system contract for a cruise ferry in China, after the technology package for Chinese-built Viking Line vessel has been extended to include the ABB Ability System 800xA.
 
5.Container volumes at China's Shanghai port have risen in October compared to the same month last year, but they dipped on a month-on-month comparison, according to data from Shanghai International Port Group(SIPG).
 
6.The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) Port Service Network(APSN) Port Connectivity Forum and 11th Council Meeting was officially opened by Mr Niam Chiang Meng, Chairman of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore(MPA), at Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre today.
