CMPort throughput exceeded 100 million TEUs xinde marine news 2018-01-16 16:51



Hong Kong-listed China Merchants Port Holdings Co said it handled a total container throughput of 102.93 million 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in its port businesses last year, up 7.5 percent from 2016. 
 
The company's ports in the Chinese mainland contributed container throughput of 77.10 million TEUs, while those in Hong Kong and Taiwan handled 7.48 million TEUs.
 
Its overseas ports handled 18.35 million TEUs with outstanding performances by Colombo International Container Terminals in Sri Lanka and Lome Container Terminal in Togo.
