Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) hereby announces that it has resolved, at the Board of Directors’ meeting held today, to change its Chairman, President, and representative directors as below.
1. Reason for Change
Due to the changes of Chairman and President on April 1, 2023.
2.List of Change
Tadaaki Naito change from Chairman, Director to Director.
Hitoshi Nagasawa change from President, Representative Director President and Chief Executive Officer to Chairman, Director.
Takaya Soga change from Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer to President, Representative Director President and Chief Executive Officer.
*1 : Tadaaki Naito will resign his current position as Chairman on March 31, 2023, and is scheduled to assume the position of Special Advisor after expiration of terms of office as Director upon conclusion of the 136th General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in June 2023.
*2 : Hitoshi Nagasawa will resign his current position as President, Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer on March 31, 2023.
