China's first CMD-MAN 8G95ME-C10.6-EGRTC completed the engine test submission Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-12-08 10:09


On December 6, China's first CMD-MAN 8G95ME-C10.6-EGRTC main engine built by CSSC-MES Diesel (CMD), a subsidiary of CSSC Power (Group) completed the engine test submission. It will be installed on a 15, 500TEU container vessel built by Hudong -Zhonghua Shipbuilding for Seaspan.


The maximum power of 8G95ME-C10.6-EGRTC main engine is 54,960KW. It adopts the latest MK10.6 technology and adopts the FBIV-S and SEQ-TC. Through the introduction of these latest technologies, the fuel consumption of the main engine is further reduced. It is also equipped with EGRTC, which can directly meet the Tier III emission requirements.
