On September 2, the "2022 Green and Secure Ports Conference" was held in Changsha, which was co-sponsored by China Port Association, Tianjin Port (Group), Tianjin Research Institute For Water Transport Engineering and Hunan Port Group. The theme of conference is "Double Carbon for a Secure Future".
At the meeting, the grade evaluation results of the first batch of Green Port Projects in 2021 was released. And the awarding ceremony was held, with a total of 17 enterprises to receive awards. Among them, the Phase IV Shanghai Yangshan Deep water Port and the coal wharf of Huanghua Port were rated as five-star green ports.
