On August 1, China Merchants Port(South China) Bulk Cargo Management Center was inaugurated.
Shenxi General Cargo Terminal is the largest foreign trade fertilizer and wheat unloading port in China, the largest foreign trade grain and feed distribution center and the largest domestic trade grain spot trading center in the Pearl River Delta region, and plays an important role in the economic and social development of the Greater Bay Area.
Began in the reform and opening up of China Merchants Port, Chiwan Port Development, in the summer to open a whole new range, form both foreign trade container cargo handling and storage, a variety of supporting services integrated port enterprises. The total length of berths is about 5,169 meters, with 16 berths for bulk cargo terminals, 8 berths for container terminals, and participating in the management of 12 berths for Laizhou Port of Yantai Port Group. The asset scale exceeds 5 billion yuan, and the estimated annual turnover will reach 1.7 billion yuan.
