OOCL Announces Service Enhancements on Asia-East Africa Service 1 (EAX1) OOCL 2020-05-06 09:53


OOCL will be enhancing services with faster transit times between Asia and East Africa effective from mid of May.
 
The Asia-East Africa Service 1 (EAX1) will be upgraded with direct calls from Central China and South China to Mombasa on Westbound sailings and fast transit times from Mombasa back to Asia.
 
New port rotation of EAX1: Shanghai - Ningbo - Nansha - Singapore - Mombasa - Singapore - Nansha – Shanghai
 
Effective voyage will be ETA Shanghai on May 21.
 
This enhancement is in line with our commitment to offering competitive products that meet customer requirements in today’s evolving market environment and complementing our existing Asia-East Africa network.  Customers will find our Asia-East Africa suite of products offering flexibility and more shipping options, such as:
 
The Asia-East Africa Service 3 (EAX3), providing direct calls from Central China and South China to Mombasa, with the flexibility of multiple first leg options in this service loop.
 
Port rotation of EAX3: Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Port Kelang - Colombo - Mombasa - Colombo - Port Kelang - Singapore – Shanghai
 
The Asia-East Africa Service 4 (EAX4), providing direct services from Singapore and Port Kelang to Dar Es Salaam, which also offers flexible first leg options to meet customer requirements.
 
Port rotation of EAX4: Singapore - Port Kelang - Colombo – Dar Es Salaam - Colombo – Singapore
