Position：Junior Sales

Job Scope:

1、Gaining knowledge of the bunker fuel market and becoming conversant in our internal system

2、New accounts development

3、Extensive cold calling and client visits 

to hunt for business

Core duties and responsibilities include:

1、Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements

2、Analyze and disseminate appropriate 

market information to identify new business opportunities

3、Frequently visit existing and new 

customers

4、Maintain a database of active customer targets and prospects

5、Be a reliable point of contact for 

customer requests and transactions

6、Monitor customer use of credit line and credit exposure

7、Assist in operational/logistic support 

where needed. These activities include supplier service, fuel delivery coordination, claims resolution and ensure optimal 

customer satisfaction

PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

Essential

1、The successful candidate is likely to have about two to three years’ experience of selling commodities, preferably marine fuel

2、An understanding of commodity market 

dynamics

3、A resilient and tenacious character

4、Strong numerical ability and analytical 

skills are needed to interpret market 

information and competitively priceproducts

5、Strong written and oral communication skills

6、A willingness and desire to solicit for 

new business opportunities from new and existing customers
