On November 25, China Shipbuilding Trading together with Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry and Guangxi Wuzhou Tongzhou Shipping Transportation signed the construction contract for two 7,450DWT product/chemical tankers.
The ship is 112.90 meters long, 17.80 meters wide, 9.60 meters deep, has a design draft of about 6.90 meters, a deadweight of about 7630 dwt, and a speed of 12.5 knots. It is classified into CCS classification society, and its emissions meet both IMO Tier II standards and Domestic C1 standard, registered under the Chinese flag.
After this contract comes into effect, Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry has six hand-held orders of stainless steel chemical tankers.
