On November 10, the christening and delivery ceremony of the seventh and eighth ship SOLAR RUO YUN and SOLAR KAREN of 8 50,000dwt IMO Ⅱ chemical tanker project of Shandong Shipping was held in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province.
This marks the perfect conclusion of Shandong Shipping's Solar cooperation project with New Times Shipbuilding -8 IMO Ⅱ chemical tankers.
The 50,000DWT IMO Ⅱ chemical tanker series is 183.23 meters long, 32.2 meters wide, 19.1 meters deep, design draft 11 meters, structural draft 13.3 meters, deadweight 49,200 dwt, speed 14.2 knots, configuration of the main engine is MAN B&W 6G50ME-C9.6 Tier III (SCR).
