CSSC Chengxi receives orders for asphalt carriers and tankers xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-04-27 16:02

Recently, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard and Japan's owner Kumiai respectively signed a construction contract for a 37,000-ton asphalt carrier and a 50,000-ton MR tanker.
 
Kumiai is a well-known Japanese shipowner who had been ordering shipbuilding in Japan. Prior to this, CSSC Chengxi successfully undertaken and delivered the company's 2 7800-ton asphalt ships and 1 37,000-ton asphalt ship project.
 
Among them, the 37,000-ton asphalt ship is currently the largest tonnage ship in the world. It is the upgraded and optimized ship type of 37,000 ton asphalt ship delivered to Kumiai, and also the eighth asphalt ship undertaken by CSSC Chengxi.
