On November 4, the opening ceremony of the 4th China International Import Expo was grandly held in Shanghai.
 
On November 5, 7 companies under China State Shipbuilding Corporation signed 31 project contracts with 26 partners. The total contract amount reached 1.4 billion yuan (approximately 219 million US dollars), which was an increase of 92.1% year-on-year compared with the previous year.
 
At the signing ceremony, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, Guangzhou Shipyard International, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong, Hudong Heavy Machinery, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard, Shaanxi Diesel Heavy Industry and Harbin Guanghan Gas Turbine have signed 31 project contracts with 26 companies, mainly involving diesel main engines, LNG gas supply systems, cargo oil pump systems, main generators, gas turbines, and various parts.
 
At the first CIIE, CSSC formally signed a contract for the construction of 2+4 135,000DWT Vista-class cruise. During each subsequent CIIE, CSSC has signed a number of important contracts, and performed well.
