On October 18, the National Engineering Research Center for Ship and Offshore Design Technology, the National Engineering Research Center of Special Equipment and Power Systems for Ship and Offshore, the National Engineering Research Center of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment for Ship and Offshore, and the National Engineering Research Center for Ship Intelligent Manufacturing was officially unveiled at Shanghai Marine Equipment Research Institute.
After adjustment, the four engineering research centers were approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in December 2021 and included in the new sequence management.
