DSIC delivered a 210,000 DWT bulk carrier xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-07-29 15:03

On July 27, Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry of DSIC held a christening ceremony for "BERGE BOBOTOV", a 210,000 DWT bulk carrier built for Berge Bulk (Singapore). On July 28, the ship was successfully signed and delivered.
 
Since 2006, Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry and Berge Bulk (Singapore) have worked together to build a number of classic ship types, including 320,000DWT VLCC, 388,000DWT VLOC, 215,000DWT bulk carrier and 210,000DWT Newcastlemax bulk carrier, with a gross tonnage of more than 4 million DWT.
The 210,000DWT bulk carrier No.23 is the final product of the series 210,000 DWT bulk carrier built by DSIC's BSHI for Berge Bulk (Singapore).
 
The 210,000DWT series bulk carrier is the largest Newcastlemax bulker, which is independently developed and designed by DSIC's BSHI. The vessel is 300 meters in length, 49 or 50 meters in width and 25.2 meters in depth, and is classed into ABS.
