Position: Claims Assistant

Starting date: ASAP

Location: Shanghai

Salary: To be discussed

Job Description:

An opportunity to gain an understanding of the marine insurance industry by working as a Claims Assistant in the Shanghai Office of the Managers of the American P&I Club (the “Club”).

●Work on daily administrative tasks, provide administrative support to the Shanghai office;

●Assist the Claims Team in handling claims matters and related tasks;

●Assist with the Club’s marketing and business development efforts;

●Prepare weekly submissions to the Head Office.

Requirements:

●Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in maritime law, international commercial law, or related discipline;

●Good command of oral and written English;

●Good interpersonal skills and a strong learning ability

Subject to performance and the Club’s requirements, we are prepared to offer you the opportunity to develop your career and progress to Junior Claims Executive.
