Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bestway Group, has signed two major contracts in the past few days, the company announced on Feb. 23.
 
Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry has entered into a contract and a supplementary agreement for the construction of four 8,000 dwt bulk carriers for $10 million each and a total of $40 million with Limited Liability Company Adov-Don Shipping Company ("LLCADSC") and Joint Stock Company Aston Foods and Food Ingredients ("JSC Aston") as the Joint buyer. That's equivalent to about 258 million RMB. The delivery date is October 30, 2021.
 
The owner of the vessel, LLC «ADSC», is a wholly owned subsidiary of JSC Aston, a company registered in Russia.
 
In addition, Dajin Heavy Industry and Shanghai Oouyang Ocean Engineering signed a contract for the construction and delivery of two 118-meter deck transport ships, with a total value of 64.99 million yuan, for a total value of 130 million yuan.
 
The contract will have a positive effect on Bestway's operating performance from 2021 to 2023.
