On December 1, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held the christening and delivery ceremony of the 150,000 dwt crude oil carrier "YUAN NAN HAI".
"YUAN NAN HAI" is an energy-saving and environment-friendly Suezmax crude oil carrier specially designed for COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., LTD. This vessel is the second tanker in the series and belongs to the type of unlimited sailing zone with a range of more than 26,000 nautical miles.
The ship is also designed to meet the new requirements of the Panama Canal, which is designed to be widened.
The ship is about 274.3 meters in length, 48 meters wide in shape and has a maximum deadweight of 158,000 DWT. Its structural draft of 17.15 meters can normally carry 1.079 million barrels of crude oil through the Suez Canal.
The ship type meets the ship energy efficiency management requirements of i-SHIP (E) symbol of CCS; With anti - piracy design to ensure the safety of the ship operation.
