GSI delivered 64,900 DWT crude carrier xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-07-13 16:39

On July 10, 64,900 DWT crude carrier No. 2 built by Guangzhou Shipyard International for COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation was named and delivered. The ship was named “YUAN AN HU”.
 
With a total length of 224.9 meters, a ship width of 35 meters, a depth of 18.0 meters, a design draft of 11.2 meters and a design speed of 14.5 knots, “YUAN AN HU” is a new generation of green, safe and environmentally friendly oil tanker optimized and upgraded by Guangzhou Shipyard International based on the classic MR ship type.
 
The ship meets the requirements of international navigation and is the latest type suitable for the transportation of crude oil along the Yangtze River.
 
The vessel is equipped with an SCR system to control exhaust emissions and meet the environmental requirements of Tier III emission and HCSR structure.
 
The ship is the second of two 64,900 DWT crude carrier signed by Guangzhou Sshipyard International and COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation on December 15, 2017.
