On April 25, Seacon Shipping issued an announcement that Seacon Shipping Pte. Ltd entered into two shipbuilding contracts with the seller Tsuneishi Shipbuilding. The seller agreed to build two ships for the buyer at a total price of US$63.39 million. The first ship will be delivered in June 2025, and the second ship is scheduled to be delivered in September.

Seacon Shipping stated that the acquisition of ships is in line with the group's strategy of continuously optimizing its fleet by phasing out its outdated controlled ships and replacing them with newer ones, as well as expanding its controlled fleet.
