COSCO SHIPPING Specialized signed a transportation contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries in July for Murphy’s King’s Quay floating production unit (FPU). King’s Quay will be fabricated in Ulsan, Korea and then transported in 2021 to the Gulf of Mexico onboard the 50,000mt dwt semi-submersible vessel Xiang He Kou.
COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Transport, with locations in Houston and Rotterdam, is responsible for the marketing, project management, and engineering for COSCO SHIPPING Specialized’s fleet of semi-submersible vessels.
