New Crane Tipped Over During Delivery at Tuas Port – No Injuries Reported

On June 15, 2025, a new quay crane tipped over during its delivery to a non-operational berth at Singapore's Tuas Port. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the incident did not cause any damage to adjacent port equipment or facilities.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and PSA Singapore confirmed that all operational berths remain fully accessible and that port operations are unaffected. The incident is currently under investigation.

As part of PSA’s ambitious plan to develop the world’s largest automated container terminal, Tuas Port continues to expand and enhance its infrastructure. This incident, while unfortunate, highlights the ongoing progress in Singapore’s port development and its commitment to safety and operational excellence.
