Spot rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe in the week ending Friday decreased 1.2 per cent to US$752 TEU, according to the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI).
Asia-Mediterranean trade rates also fell 1.2 per cent to $769 per TEU. Asia to the US west coast rates increased 0.7 per cent to $2,606 per FEU, and by 9.7 per cent to $3,615 per FEU.
