The first batch of shipments for China International Import Expo (CIIE) have been loaded by China COSCO Shipping Lines at Port of Hamburg, Germany, and the shipments are expected to arrive in Shanghai this October, reports thepaper.cn.
After German branch of China COSCO Shipping Lines accepted the consignment, the shipping procedures involved with custom clearance, storage and packaging will be completed within a month through a joint effort with SeaExpress, a logistic company, and COSCO.
A staff member from COSCO said the shipments belong to a German family enterprise. The company has business in automobiles, construction and engineering industries and is well known in Germany.
The China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. During the Expo, entrepreneurs from across the world will attend and seek to strengthen cooperation in business.
