China released a plan to promote Beidou navigation system for civilian use. 
According to the plan, China’s Certification and Accreditation Administration and Joint Staff Department of China's CentralMilitary Commission will work together to promote Beidou’s certification system construction to promote its products, system and service quality in order to promote it to the civilian areas. 

"Testing and certification will better the Beidou system products' quality, provide a basic technical support for it and help promote it to nations along the routes of Belt and Road Initiative. So far, we have offered testing and certification services to 30,000 units of samples of 4,000 companies. By 2020, we will provide service to a million units of products of more than 10,000 companies," said Xu Zengde, deputy chief administrator of the Administration. 

The Beidou Navigation Satellite System is China’s self-developed global navigation satellite system, which is composed of three sections: the space section, the ground section and the user section.
