1.The current fishing ban in China, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, will be lifted in South China Sea from 16 August 2018. Following this, the waters of East China Sea, Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea will see the ban lifted in September.
 
2.As of 1 August 2018, Customs Authorities in China will accept electronic documents (eDocs) at the point of Customs declaration, and will not longer require paper documents as a strict prerequisite for clearance.
 
3. In 2017, the TEU (twenty-foot container equivalent units) throughput of the Port of Shanghai reached a record high of 4.02 million, growing 8.3 percent year on year. 
 
4.Beginning 1 January 2019, all vessels entering Taiwanese ports will be required to use fuel with a sulphur content of less than 0.5%.
 
5.The world's largest ship-lift in the Three Gorges, central China's Hubei Province, has greatly boosted Yangtze River shipping but it is over demand.

7.China's major oil and gas giants expect their net profits and net incomes to surge for the first half of this year, benefiting from the revival in crude oil prices, but analysts believe high earnings growth will be hard to maintain in the second half as oil prices are unlikely to rise much above current levels.
 
8.China National Offshore Oil Corp's liquefied natural gas terminal in the southern city of Shenzhen ,with a receiving capacity of 4 million metric tons per year,became operational on Wednesday, to help meet China's growing appetite for natural gas.
