ZHEHAI Shipping Expands Global Footprint with New Subsidiary in Tianjin Dongjiang Xinde Marine News Pang Kai 2025-09-01 10:14


Zhejiang Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. (ZHEHAI Shipping), a subsidiary of Zhejiang Shipping Group, has established Tianjin Zhijiang 507 Shipping Co., Ltd. in Dongjiang with a registered capital of RMB 100 million.

The new subsidiary will focus on international ship leasing and fleet expansion, leveraging Dongjiang’s comprehensive bonded zone advantages to accelerate presence in the global shipping market.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Hangzhou, ZHEHAI Shipping has grown into a diversified enterprise with dry bulk shipping at its core, operating both domestic coastal and global trade routes. Since their first international vessel entered service in 2008, they have built strong partnerships with industry-leading clients worldwide.

Main trade lanes include:
Southeast Asia (coal, nickel ore)
Asia–Africa, India & Persian Gulf
Baltic Sea–Indian Ocean
North China to Mediterranean, Europe, West & North Africa, South America (general cargo & project cargo)

This strategic step in Dongjiang marks a key milestone in ZHEHAI Shipping’s ocean-going transformation, supporting the vision to strengthen global competitiveness and increase market share in international shipping.
