Sallaum Lines Deepens Strategic Partnership with China — Green PCTC Delivered 4 Months Early xinde marine news Chen Yang 2025-07-22 16:57

On July 18, OCEAN BREEZE — a 7,500 CEU LNG dual-fuel car carrier built by Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding for Sallaum Lines — was delivered four months ahead of schedule, setting a new benchmark for green shipbuilding efficiency.

This milestone is more than just a ship delivery. It represents:
· A deepening partnership between Europe’s leading automotive carrier and China’s advanced shipbuilding industry
· Financial support by Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd via customized leasing solutions
· A broader strategy by Sallaum to build a modern, green, and China-focused global logistics network

Highlights of OCEAN BREEZE:
Length: 199.9m | Beam: 38m | 13 vehicle decks
Designed to carry traditional vehicles, NEVs, and packaged hazardous cargo
LNG dual-fuel main engine, electric RORO systems, and low-emission performance
ABS-classed, meeting IMO’s strictest decarbonization standards

Sallaum Lines is clearly doubling down on China:
6 new PCTCs ordered from Chinese yards (Fujian Mawei & CMHI Jinling)
Shanghai office established to support Chinese OEMs
Long-term cooperation across construction, financing, and service

From green technology to industrial synergy, OCEAN BREEZE shows how global shipping is evolving — faster, cleaner, and more collaborative.
