China Merchants Group Visits Everllence in Copenhagen Everllence 2025-07-09 13:51


Recently, Everllence in Copenhagen had the honor of hosting a high - profile visit from the top management of China Merchants Group (CMG), – a pioneer in China's industrial and commercial landscape since 1872! 
 
The CMG delegation, led by the esteemed Chairman Mr. Miao Jianmin and Executive Vice President Mr. Song Rong, brought with them a wealth of experience and a forward-looking vision. Chairman Miao Jianmin presented an insightful overview of CMG's diverse business portfolio, spanning multiple sectors,highlighting group's ambitious "Third Entrepreneurship" initiative, which aims to propel CMG into a new era of innovation and sustainability. This vision resonated deeply with Everllence's own commitment to advancing green technologies in the maritime industry.
 
Everllence's very own Bjarne Foldager, SVP and Head of Marine 2-stroke and Marita Krems, SVP and Head of Marine 4-stroke took the stage to introduce Everllence. They highlighted the two core product lines: medium-speed and low-speed engines, showcasing our cutting-edge innovations and technological advancements. They also delved into our license structure, setup, and retrofit solutions that are setting new standards in the industry.
 
Recognizing the potential for collaboration, both sides expressed a strong desire to strengthen ties. They agreed to explore joint initiatives in research and development, technology sharing, and market development, with the aim of accelerating the transition to a low - carbon marine industry.
 
After the business meeting the guests were invited to DieselHouse where the Chairman Mr. Miao, Jianmin had the opportunity to start the B&W Engine which was the largest onshore engine in the year 1933.
