PIL boosts Intra Asia coverage with new North China Indonesia Service Pacific International Lines 2025-05-26 18:21

To capitalise on the burgeoning trade flows between the Far East and South East Asia, Pacific International Lines (PIL) is launching a new weekly direct service with fast transit times that connects the key ports in China, Singapore, and Indonesia. The North China Indonesia Service (NCI) will be served by a consortium of vessels running on a 35-day rotation, with the first sailing commencing on 17 June 2025.

Mr Surendran Mathilagath, General Manager, Intra-Asia Services, PIL, said, “We anticipate Asia will continue to play a pivotal role in international trade. The new NCI Service, with its comprehensive coverage of ports in China, Singapore and Indonesia, is strategically designed to support our customers in meeting the growing demand in Asia for both dry and reefer trades. It also underscores our commitment to strengthen our connections with Asia’s numerous ports, significantly enhancing our competitiveness in the region. By widening our competitive solutions and transit times within Southeast Asia, as well as to the rest of our global network, we are reaffirming PIL’s dedication to delivering enhanced connectivity and value.” 
 
The rotation for the NCI service includes the following ports:
Tianjin – Qingdao – Xiamen – Singapore – Jakarta – Surabaya – Singapore - Tianjin
