On August 21, Antong Holdings released the results for the first half of 2023.
 
During the reporting period, Antong Holdings realized operating income of approximately 3.595 billion yuan, which was adjusted to 4.374 billion yuan in the same period in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 17.80%.
 
The net profit was approximately 282 million yuan, which was adjusted to 1.167 billion yuan in the same period of 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 75.87%; The basic earnings per share were 0.0665 yuan, adjusted for the same period in 2022 to 0.2673 yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 75.12%.
 
In the first half of the year, the company completed a billable container volume of 1,233,800 TEU, an increase of 8.94% year-on-year, of which 1,227,900 TEU were completed by sea freight; Container throughput was 6,366,000 TEU, an increase of 8.65% year-on-year.
 
Statistics show that as of June 30, 2023, Antong Holdings operates and manages a total of 70 ships with a total capacity of 2.1456 million dwt. Among them, there are 49 self-owned ships with a total capacity of 1.6314 million dwt, and the capacity of its self-owned ships accounts for 76.03% of the company's total capacity.
 
Looking forward to the second half of the year, Antong Holdings stated that it will continue to seek new breakthroughs in terms of revenue generation, cost reduction and efficiency increase, customer service and refined management to achieve high-quality sustainable development.
