SPG contributes to China's auto exports SPG 2023-08-21 11:12

Qingdao Port recently saw a total of 450 vehicles manufactured by Chinese carmaker Changan Auto exported to St. Petersburg in Russia through the port's seaborne route. This was Shandong Port Logistics Group's first time exporting Changan's automobiles.

This year, the finished vehicle logistics team of logistics group has expanded the overseas market for finished vehicles. As Russia has become China's largest importer of cars, the team has seized opportunities to collaborate with many vehicle manufacturers. This has in turn contributed to the growth in finished vehicle exports to Russia.

In May, logistics group signed a cooperation agreement with Changan during the 2023 Jinan Seminar on Serving the High-quality Development of the Yellow River Basin. The two sides agreed to establish an export channel for finished vehicles by leveraging their respective advantages.

To export the first batch of Changan vehicles, logistics group personnel visited Changan's Chongqing-based headquarters several times and the company has offered customized logistics solutions to help smooth exports for Changan's finished vehicles.
