First ship steel cutting! Hengli Heavy Industry Park opened Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2023-01-29 16:27


On January 28, Hengli Heavy Industry Park opened in Dalian Changxing Island. At the ceremony, Hengli Heavy Industry's first ship was steel cutting. It has signed the first batch of ship construction orders with shipowners, and signed strategic cooperation agreements with well-known suppliers, technical institutions and design institutes.


In July 2022, Hengli Heavy Industry established and successfully acquired the assets of STX (Dalian) at a cost of 2.11 billion yuan. Hengli Heavy Industry to build coastal equipment manufacturing base. It is understood that the project covers an area of 5.3 square kilometers, has a 460m dry dock and four 700m berth, as well as 4000 m wharf shoreline, and is equipped with a 1000 ton gantry crane and three 900 ton gantry crane.
 

It is understood that after the base putting into operation, Hengli Heavy Industry Park will have the annual steel processing capacity of 1 million tons and the annual delivery capacity of 40 ships.
