According to Qingdao Municipal of Industry and Information Technology, CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding and Belgian shipowner CMB once again signed 10 210,000 DWT bulk carriers. So far, Qingdao Beihai's orders from January to November reached 3.36 million dwt, ranking sixth in the world shipyards.

According to previous reports, the total value of the order is US $ 640 million, and the new ships will be delivered in 2025 and 2026.

The 10 newly signed bulk carriers are ammonia-ready green power ships, and are the world's first capesize bulk carrier orders with ammonia-ready design.

In addition, the world's first methanol-powered 210,000 dwt bulk carrier jointly developed by Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding and China Ship Design & Research Center was awarded AiP by ABS in September this year.
