The H2EXPO & CONFERENCE, the international forum for the production, distribution and use of hydrogen, will be held on a new date. For two days from June 28th to 29th, 2023, the future of the energy transition will once again be the focus of attention at the Hamburg Messe site. After a successful kick-off event last September, this truly innovative industry event will be held at the Hamburg Exhibition Centre, biannually in even years parallel to WindEnergy Hamburg, the leading global trade fair for the wind industry. In addition, Andreas Arnheim, who has already made a name for himself as project manager for WindEnergy Hamburg in the field of renewable energies, will also assume control of the H2EXPO & CONFERENCE with his team, with immediate effect.
"Following the successful premiere event, we made some additional adjustments, and adapted to the current market situation," explained Bernd Aufderheide, CEO of Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC), regarding the decision. “The new date for the H2EXPO & CONFERENCE at the end of June next year will precede the nationwide summer holidays and is ideal for the exhibiting companies, our partners, and for decision-makers from industry and business. The planned holding of the annual industry event parallel to WindEnergy Hamburg every two years has also been received extremely positively. "In addition, Andreas Arnheim, as an experienced colleague, is taking over its management. He is well connected in the field of renewable energies and will work with our partners to drive further conceptual development in the future."

Key players and hidden champions of the hydrogen economy presented themselves for the first time at the H2EXPO & CONFERENCE in September parallel to the WindEnergy Hamburg event. The successful combination of highly innovative state-of-the-art technologies and processes with a multifaceted lecture program in a separate hall was extremely well received. An independent visitor survey revealed that 88 percent of visitors were enthusiastic about the conference programme.
H2EXPO & CONFERENCE – the networking event of the international hydrogen economy
The H2EXPO & CONFERENCE, the international rendez-vous for everything to do with the production, distribution and use of hydrogen, will take place from June 28th to 29th, 2023, in Hall B6 of the Hamburg Messe site. Over two days, an appealing networking platform will be established for stakeholders from both business and politics, who will exchange views on the latest trends and the future of the international hydrogen economy in networking areas and side events. H2 technology providers from Germany and abroad will be presenting their solutions, innovations and projects. Parallel to this, there will be a top-class conference programme at which leading figures from politics, science and business are expected to speak on topics such as regulation, technologies and the future of hydrogen.
