With the decline of bulk carrier freight rates, Wisdom Marine's performance fell to a nine month low in November.
On December 5, Wisdom Marine released its financial report. In November, its consolidated revenue was NT $1.716 billion (about 391 million yuan), a monthly decrease of 12.04% and an annual decrease of 15.58%, down year-on-year for two consecutive months.
The operating profit of the month was NT $582 million (about RMB 133 million), an annual decrease of 46.39%, and the pre tax surplus was NT $282 million (about RMB 64 million), an annual decrease of 71.54%.
In the first 11 months of Wisdom Marine, the accumulated consolidated revenue reached NT $23.393 billion (about 5.333 billion yuan), an annual increase of 36.76%.
The pre tax surplus was NT $10.475 billion (about RMB 2.388 billion), an annual increase of 46.1%. This year's profit has been determined to exceed that of last year, reaching a new high.
In terms of fleet layout, Wisdom Marine is expected to have 7 and 4 new energy-saving ships delivered for operation in 2023 and 2024. Up to now, Wisdom Marine has 140 ships in its fleet.
