New Times won an order of two LR product tankers from Greek shipowner Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-12-05 17:00

On December 1, Capital Ship Management, a subsidiary of Greek shipowner Evangelos Marinakis, ordered two 115,800 dwt LR2 product tankers in New Times Shipbuilding.
 
According to Clarkson's data, the new ship is planned to be delivered and operated in February and May 2025.
 
The two new ships will be named "AIOLOS" and "AISOPOS" respectively.
 
Although the specific price has not been announced, the sources estimate that the cost of each new ship is about 60 million dollars.
 
This is the first product tanker order undertaken by New Times Shipbuilding this year. According to Clarkson's data, this year New Times has received 35 orders, including 20 container ships, 3 crude tankers, 10 chemical tankers and the latest 2 product tankers.
