On November 25, 2022, Wusongkou Forum was held in Shanghai. China State Shipbuilding Corporation launched the self-developed 80,000 DWT cruise type, released China's self-operated cruise service brand "Adora Cruises", and signed the first 10 billion cruise industry financing cooperation memorandum with relevant financial institutions.

These three major achievements not only became the biggest highlight of this forum, but also injected strong impetus into the recovery of China's cruise industry in the post-epidemic era.

The 80,000 DWT cruise ship released this time was independently developed and designed by CSSC Cruise Technology Development, a subsidiary of CSSC, and has obtained the AiP certificate issued by China Classification Society (CCS).

This type of ship has a total length of 293.5 meters and a width of 34 meters, meeting the latest SOLAS 2020 for damage stability, IMO 2020 global sulfur cap, and MLC 2006. According to the latest regulations and specifications, the EEDI meets the requirements of Phase Ⅲ.

At the forum, CSSC Carnival officially released the self-operated service brand "Adora Cruises" for China's first large domestic cruise ship.

At the forum, Zhong Chuan Finance, CSSC Carnival and more than 10 banks including Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank and Bank of Communications signed the "Memorandum of Cooperation on the Development of China's Cruise Industry". This is also the first large-scale cruise ship financing in China.
