On November 23, the "Rescue and Salvage" Forum of the 2022 North Bund Forum was held in Shanghai. The forum is co-hosted by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Transport of China, with the theme of "Green Professional Rescue and salvage, the development of the global shipping Industry". Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI) was invited to attend this forum. Mr. Lyu Zhiyong, President, Deputy Party Secretary of SDARI delivered a speech on "Current Situation and Prospect of Rescue and Salvage Ship Equipment and Facilities".
 

Lyu Zhiyong put forward the development concept of rescue and salvage ship in intelligent, green, deep sea and polar fields from three aspects: the demand of rescue and salvage equipment, the development status of Marine emergency rescue and salvage equipment and the development of scientific and technological innovation enabling rescue and salvage equipment.
