On Nov 17, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding signed six 24,000 TEU container vessels towing agreement with Jiangsu Port Group.
 
The 24,000TEU container vessels towing project is the largest vessel navigable in the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River this year. The towing operation is affected by wind, which requires high operation technology, has impact on the navigable environment and navigation safety of vessels in the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River.
 
The previous record-setting towing project of four 12,200 TEU container vessels and two 14,000TEU container vessels in the Jiangsu section of the Yangtze River was supported by the Jiangsu Maritime Safety Administration.
 
The first batch of Yangzijiang's 24,000 TEU container vessels will be towed and berthed in mid-December.
