At 20:24 on November 11, 2022, world's first Chinese-flagged VLGC "CHANG XING YUAN" officially set sail.
"CHANG XING YUAN" has a capacity of 83,088 m3, which is the largest Chinese LPG ship at present. Its owner is Shanghai COSCO SHIPPING LPG Transportation Co., Ltd.
On October 26, 2022, COSCO SHIPPING Investment Dalian invested in "GAS ARIES" and officially changed its name to "CHANG XING YUAN" and registered in "Yangshan Port, China".
At present, the LPG market has a broad development prospect. China has been the world's largest LPG importer for many years. "CHANG XING YUAN" will inject vitality into the development of Yangshan Port and the construction of Lingang New Area, and help COSCO SHIPPING Investment Dalian to actively participate in the construction of China's VLGC fleet.
