Bulk carrier collided with Chinese fishing vessel, 11 missing Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-11-03 11:13

At about 1825 on October 31, the bulk carrier CAPE BRILLIANCE collided with the fishing vessel Suqiyu 05108 (position: 30°49’N 123°17’E) in the East China Sea. The accident led to the sinking of the Suqiyu 05108, with 14 people falling into the water. As of 10 a.m. on November 1, a total of 3 people have been rescued and 11 people are still missing.
 
MSA issued navigation warning that East China sea a fishing vessel sunk in vicinity of 30-49.3N 123-08.6E(PA) person missing, vessels in vicinity search and rescue.

CAPE BRILLIANCE is ballasting from Taicang to Port WALCOTT, Australia.
