On September 29, Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry and China Shipbuilding Trading signed a contract with COSCO Shipping Oil Transportation (Dalian) for the construction of a 6,300-dwt stainless steel chemical tanker and a 7,450-dwt stainless steel chemical tanker.
The two stainless steel chemical tankers classified into CCS, and registered under the Chinese flag. At the same time, it meets the emissions requirements of Tier III and i-Ship (E).
This year, Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding has delivered 2 stainless steel chemical tankers and signed construction contracts for 4 stainless steel chemical tankers. Currently, it has orders for 8 stainless steel chemical tankers.
