On September 24, China Merchants Energy Shipping and Dalian Maritime University held a signing ceremony for a framework agreement on deepening strategic cooperation in Dalian.
Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Group, said that CMES and DMU have "same roots" in history and have a solid foundation for cooperation.
He hoped that the two sides can further strengthen comprehensive cooperation in shipping, ports and integrated logistics.
Zheng Shaonan, Secretary of the Party Committee of DMU, said that the two sides will jointly contribute to the construction of a strong transportation country and a strong maritime country.
