Chinese oil tanker fire out of control in northern Yellow Sea,one crew killed Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-09-01 14:06

It is reported that on the morning of September 1, the hull of TIAN SHENG YOU 2 exploded in waters west of Chengshantou report line.
The Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China issued an emergency navigation warning: In the northern Yellow Sea, TIAN SHENG YOU 2 caught fire and out of control near 37-43.6N,121-50.98E, maritime search and rescue is underway. All vessels should pass at a distance of 2 nautical miles.
At present, 16 crews have been safely removed and are in good condition, while another crew who fell overboard was rescued without vital signs. The tanker's fire has been extinguished and is being towed to nearby port. No oil was found in the area and an investigation has been carried out.
