Recently, Mearsk publish a blue paper to talk about sustainability in Supply Chains from an Asia perspective. They find 90% of consumers in the Asia-Pacific region are willing to pay extra for sustainable specialty products.
 
The Asia-Pacific region accounts for 36% of global GDP, 80% of global coal consumption and 60% of global carbon dioxide emissions.
 
The Arup makes recommendations for sustainable development: Invest more capital to encourage markets to develop green energy and other measures to reduce emissions.
 
More and more companies in the Asia-Pacific region are using biofuels, artificial intelligence, data and technology driven transformation to drive sustainable development.
