Following the successful signing of 10 CROWN63 PLUS ships with three leasing companies in June, on July 22, SUMEC Marine and New Dayang Shipbuilding, as joint sellers, signed the construction contract of two CROWN63 PLUS ships with U-Ming Marine Transport Corp. With new orders, the company has more than 30 orders for this type ship.

CROWN63 PLUS, as the core product of SUMEC Marine, took the lead in realizing EEDI Phase III, and Tier III standards of IMO, and won wide recognition from major shipowners.

As of the end of the first quarter of 2022, the operating fleet of U-Ming has now reached 54, and 12 self owned ships under construction will be added in succession. The total number of ships in the fleet will reach 66, with a total deadweight of 8.25 million dwt.
