Recently, The Marine ammonia fuel supply system (AFSS) independently developed by Qingdao SunRui Marine Environment Engineering Company has won the LR and CCS Approval In Principle (AIP) certificate for the first time in the world. The successful development of AFSS is another major breakthrough made by SunRui in the field of clean energy supply system for ships, following the Marine LNG gas supply system and Marine methanol fuel supply system.
 
At present, it is widely believed that ammonia is one of the fuels with wide application prospects on green and low-carbon transformation of the shipping industry. In this context, SunRui signed a strategic cooperation agreement with LR Classification Society to carry out technical cooperation in the application of Marine clean energy such as ammonia fuel.
 
Through continuous technological breakthroughs, SunRui has developed AFSS with completely independent intellectual property rights, breaking through key technologies such as liquid ammonia filling, fuel storage, fuel supply and ammonia gas treatment. The system is mainly composed of charging unit, ammonia fuel storage unit, heat exchange and supply unit, ammonia gas treatment unit, security and monitoring system, control system and other units.
 
Due to ammonia fuel toxic and corrosive, during the period of certification, LR and CCS and SunRui emphasis on ammonia fuel filling, storage, supply, ammonia treatment, ventilation and decorate a key link for AFSS conducted a comprehensive risk assessment, which can identify hidden trouble in security of each link, to discuss the corresponding protective measures, and the risk rating, ensure the safety and reliability of AFSS design.
 
In recent years, with the development direction of "resource conservation and environmental protection", SunRui has successively developed a series of products such as Marine exhaust gas denitration system, Marine exhaust gas desulfurization system, Marine LNG gas supply system and Marine methanol fuel supply system, which has accumulated rich experience in technical application and has been highly recognized by customers.
